Our experience shows that what appears to be little understood is that prior to the placement of an order, the senior partner in the client / vendor relationship is the potential end user of the equipment. After the placement of an order, the senior partner becomes the vendor and all or any changes can be subject to additional costs, extended deliveries and modified performance, all of which can have an impact on the successful completion of your project.
The purpose of the application study is to ensure that the process and machinery are optimised for the best benefit of the project. In these studies, we will work with your process design department to determine the best match of compressor and process cycle to provide you with the optimum techno-economic solution for your project. These can be either in the form of screening studies or detailed proposal based studies. Our objective is to produce a solution which has acceptable risk, low power, low capital cost and deliveries acceptable to project needs.
We can also assist you in preparing requests for quotations (RFQs), bid analysis, negotiations and technical purchase orders.
In addition to the compressor application studies, we can work with your process department on IGCC integration studies to ensure the optimum match between the design of the Air Separation Unit (ASU), ASU compressors and drivers and gas turbine combined cycle plant to ensure that the best techno-economic solution is determined.
