Brian Keenan has been involved in rotating equipment for 35 years. His experience ranges from business development to operations. Within Operations Support he has been involved in the following:
. Member of numerous project teams both at Esso and BOC with responsibilities for estimating, technical specifications, negotiations with vendors, budget and schedule control, testing, commissioning and man management at a discipline level.
· Designed and introduced computer based specification and evaluation systems to BOC Process Plants to improve departmental productivity, knowledge transfer and retention.
· Introduced computer based vibration diagnostics expert system to BOC Process Plants.
. Wrote BOC Process Plants Machinery Application Manual and Machinery Troubleshooting Manual.
· Participated in the commissioning and troubleshooting of a number of major facilities for BOC and Exxon such as BOC Gresik 15Mw steam turbine driven compressor train; BOC Pemex integrated 500 Mw cogeneration plant and the world’s largest N2 facility; BOC Motherwell liquefier; Korea BOC Air Separation Plant; Esso Karlshrue Delayed Coker; Esso Karlshrue Calciner; Esso Karlsruhe Light Ends Unit; Esso Rotterdam Flexicoker; Esso Trecate FCCU; Esso Fawley FCCU expansion; Esso Fawley Isomerisation Unit.
. Member of the Exxon team which solved the subsynchronous vibration problems in the natural gas high pressure sales gas compressor on the Fulmar platform.
